Corresponding with the buyer

Send your questions about the tender to the buyer from the Messages tab. Correspondence is stored encrypted and competitors cannot see it.

All topics for suppliers

Step by step

  1. Open the Messages tab on the tender page.
  2. Write and send your message. The tender owner at the buyer company receives an email and a notification.
  3. When the buyer replies, you receive a "New Message" email. The button in the email takes you to the tender page.

Who sees it

  • The correspondence is only between you and the buyer company. Other suppliers cannot see it.
  • Message contents are stored encrypted (AES-256) in the database. Notification emails do not contain the message text, only that there is a new message.
The answer to your question may be shared with everyone

If the answer to your question also affects other suppliers' bids, the buyer may publish the answer to everyone in the tender's Frequently Asked Questions section. This is so everyone bids with the same information; buyers do not write the name of the person who asked in the FAQ.
