When a company invites you to its tender, you receive an email with the subject "Tender Invitation: tender name". The email states the inviting company, the tender name and, if set, the bid deadline.
First sign-in
- Click the button in the email. In a tender with pre-qualification, the button says Answer the Questions; otherwise it says Submit Bid.
- If this is your first time in the portal, the terms of use screen opens. Read them and click Accept and Continue.
- On the Tenders screen in the left menu, you see the tenders you are invited to. Click a tender to review the specification, items and documents.
You do not need to create an account, set a password or install software.
The button in the invitation email is valid for 24 hours and can be used once. If it has expired, your invitation is not cancelled: request a new link from the sign-in page with the steps below.
Later sign-ins
- Click Sign In on talep.io and choose the Supplier sign in option.
- Enter the email address the invitation was sent to and click Send Sign-in Link.
- Click the one-time link that arrives in your inbox.
A new link is sent to your email every time you sign in. Since there is no password to forget or steal, access to your account is limited to access to your mailbox.
If you cannot sign in
It says the sign-in link is invalid.
The link has expired or has already been used. Request a new link with your email address from the sign-in page.
The email did not arrive.
First check your spam folder. Corporate email filters may hold automated emails; ask your IT team to allow emails from talep.io. Make sure the address is correct: the invitation goes to the contact address the buyer company registered for you.
I want to sign in with a different email address.
Sign in with the address the invitation was sent to. If you sign in with another address, you will not see the tender. If the address needs to change, ask the buyer company to send the invitation to the correct address.
I have no invitation. Can I register for the portal?
No. The supplier portal can be entered only by invitation. Ask the buyer company you work with to invite you.
