In draft, you can set two conditions with Edit on the Bid Conditions card in the Tender tab. Both are optional and exist only in a sealed bid.
Bid validity period
- Entered in days. If you leave it empty, it is not required.
- The period counts from the bid deadline. If you enter 30 days, bids are binding until 30 days after the bid deadline.
- The supplier must enter at least this many days on the bid form.
- If the decision drags on and a bid's period expires, a red "Validity expired" badge appears on the bid card: that bid is no longer binding.
Bid bond
- Three options: Not required, Percentage of the bid amount or Fixed amount.
- When bidding, the supplier enters the bond amount, the issuing bank, the letter number and the bond's expiry date.
- If the amount is below what is required, or the bond's expiry date does not cover the last day the bid is valid, the bid cannot be sent.
- The supplier can attach a scanned copy of the bond letter to the bid documents.
Check the original letter
talep.io records the bond details the supplier enters and checks that they follow the rules; it does not verify the letter's authenticity with the bank. Collect the original letter in your usual way.
After publishing
Bid conditions are an announced rule: the supplier sees them, and they change only in draft. Suppliers see the conditions on the "Bid Validity" and "Bid Bond" rows in the Tender Details tab.
